Let’s Grow EduKudos and Give More Teachers a Break
After attending the EduKudos launch last July, teacher alums are now helping promote and fund the second annual EduKudos Teachers’ Retreats in the cool climes in mountains of Northern New Mexico.
If the crowdfunding campaign meets its goals, four groups, ten educators each, will be invited to attend 4-night retreats July 2019.
Teacher Retreats will include complimentary lodging at Casa Veranda, breakfasts, daily yoga and programs for deserving educators accepted into the program.
Due to insufficient fundraising this year, guests will be asked to contribute $100 to cover all meals, snacks, beverages, etc. Optional amenities such as massage will be offered for nominal charge.
What guest Teachers said about their EduKudos retreats in 2018:
“ Every teacher deserves this type of support, encouragement, relaxation and connections!”
“ Thank you SO MUCH. You’ve really helped me realize the importance of taking care of myself: ‘Fill your cup first’.”
“ This was truly innovative. One of the things I thought about this morning is that professional development is not typically a vacation . . . but here I have come away with a deep desire to do, share and create new!”
The EduKudos Dream
To reduce “teacher burn-out”.
To thank effective educators for their hard work and commitment to their profession.
To offer teachers opportunities to mentor, network, inspire and be inspired with their colleagues.
